Bruin Belles Service Association

Bruin Belles Service Association is constantly looking for new opportunities to engage with the UCLA campus and surrounding Los Angeles community in a variety of philanthropic areas. Whether it be working at a family shelter or at a gala event, BBSA welcomes these chances to meet and interact with a wide spectrum of people.

 

Philanthropic and Service Events

Our mission is to serve not only at UCLA but also in the greater Los Angeles community - we welcome all opportunities to do so. In the past, our organization as worked with children, animals, the mentally and physically disabled, at-risk youth, and more. We often collaborate with notable non-profit organizations requiring consistent and reliable volunteers, such as Meals on Wheels, the LA Food Bank, the Boys and Girls Club of East L.A., and the Los Angeles Veterans' Hospital.

 

Hosting Events

Our tradition of being the "official hostesses of UCLA" attests to the high level of professionalism and maturity of our members. We have experience working at both formal and informal events, such as benefits and silent auctions. In the past, we have helped event staff manage check-in, registration, silent auctions, ushering, and more.

 

Supporting Non-Profit Events

In addition to hosting events, Bruin Belles Service Association can lend support to your event management staff with set-up and coordination for your event, from fundraisers, to dinners, to galas. Please be aware that Bruin Belles do not substitute for wait-staff and reserve the right to not serve in that capacity.

Bruin Belles Service Association maintains a high level of consistency and commitment with the organizations we work with. To ensure that the Executive Board can facilitate this commitment, we do ask the following:

 

If you would like to work with BBSA or have an event at which you would like us to volunteer, please fill out the Contact Form no later than the Sunday prior to an event with the date, time, location, number of Belles needed, and attire for your event.
