I went to an all-girls high school that focused on actively serving our community, recognizing societal disparities, and seeking social justice. When I arrived at UCLA and heard about Bruin Belles, I knew I had found my home on campus. From philanthropy to women’s leadership to a tight sisterhood, Bruin Belles is a family of women dedicated to leaving a positive mark on the Los Angeles community. I am so grateful to be a part of an organization full of women as driven, compassionate, and bright as Bruin Belles and it’s my honor to be serving as Women’s Leadership Director this year. As this year’s director, I hope to give Belles a platform to seek education, spark discussion, and promote growth and wellness. The office will be organized on three pillars—Education, Health & Wellness, and FEM-powerment. With these pillars as a platform, Belles can utilize the office as a place to learn from each other’s passions, aid each other in developing professionally and personally, and actively seek and discuss physical and mental wellness.
