My first year of Belles, I was, and still am, inspired by the incredible women in this organization. All of these women were leaders who I would happily support, teachers that I would gladly listen to, and mentors that I would eagerly learn from. My goal as the fundraising chair is to get the fundraising office much more involved with the rest of the Belles leadership to ensure that we have funding to support all of our goals. This year, I aim to create budgeting records that track all of our previous year’s expenses in a format easily accessible to future chairs and have detailed expense charts that allow offices to track their own budgets and spending. I know at times

fundraising credit can be expensive and time consuming, and I hope to provide events that our members enjoy being a part of while obtaining the financial support for our organization. TV tapings will continue to be exciting events in the fundraising office, merchandise will still be a proud collaboration between fundraising and PR, and fundraising credit will remain a steady, predictable amount. However, this year we will host Belles fundraising PJs and Popcorn nights on the Hill, giving Belles a great way to relax and catch up after a tough week while completing fundraising credit! Belles was such a major part of my first year experience, and I hope to support this organization in challenging and giving our members experiences that they will treasure during their college experiences.
