When I first came to UCLA, I knew that I wanted to join an organization that would allow me to fulfill my passion for community service, further develop my leadership skills, and become my home away from home. I found all this and more through Bruin Belles. From volunteering with non-profit organizations to hosting Women’s Leadership Conferences, I have been able to make a difference and give back to the UCLA and the Los Angeles communities. Beyond service, I have learned so much about professionalism, women’s leadership, and have met some of my best friends and mentors. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive network of women who are among the sweetest and most accomplished individuals I have met at UCLA. I wouldn’t be where I am today without BBSA, and I am so grateful to be able to give back to this organization as Secretary this year!

 

As Secretary, I facilitate communication between general members and Executive Board, and make sure that everyone is up-to-date and accounted for. One of my goals for this year is to increase efficiency within Executive Board and our organization as a whole. In addition, I would love to play a role in promoting communication between the members of this organization as well as providing more resources for members that help them make this organization feel like home.
