I am beyond ecstatic to dive into another year full of #BelleLove and am so blessed to serve as your 2017-2018 Campus Culture Director! As Campus Culture Director, my goals are twofold. First, I hope to encourage BBSA members to explore the multifaceted UCLA campus community and promote Bruin Spirit through the multitude of unique opportunities we are afforded through Belles. These tremendous opportunities for campus involvement include, but are not limited to, volunteering in the Press Box at the Rose Bowl, attending renowned culture and arts events, decorating locker rooms in support of NCAA athletics, and organizing our annual P.L.A.Y. Day to promote higher education and healthy lifestyles for underprivileged youth. Second, in the spirit of women supporting women I hope to create a culture of support and inclusion to share and celebrate fellow Belles’ passions and interests outside of BBSA. To this avail, I will be launching several new programs including an annual Belles Showcase, a night where BBSA members can witness their fellow Belles’ amazing and diverse array of interests and talents firsthand. We will also continue to lend some extra Belle Love and Bruin Spirit to other campus organizations’ events and causes within the UCLA community. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the community alongside a group of such inspiring, compassionate, and beyond-brilliant women, and I am excited to see what the coming year holds!
